What the hell happened to all my line breaks?!?!?! Every chapter of every fic is a solid block of text! And my Word is fucked up, I can't go back and fix them!

Heh, my post about it was pretty much the same as yours, though I think mine was titled "Burn in hell ffnet!"

I feel your pain, I really do. They did this sometime last week; I'm still not done fixing my stories there. And the bitch of it is that they don't seem to care! This is what they had to say about it:

We do not support dash or other character based section/scene markers. If you wish to create a separation in your chapter, please use the officially supported horizontal line feature in our document editor or in your favorite word program. Using unsupported section markers will only make your entries less compatible to future upgrades. You can create the horizontal lines in Microsoft Word or OpenOffice by typing 3 or 4 consecutive dash/hyphen keys and then hitting enter. The site will correctly recognize these scene breakers when you upload them.

So basically it's like "oh well, fuck you, deal with it"... *ugh*

And for me, it's not even about the tremendous pain in the ass it's been to go back and reup all of my chapters so I can add stupid line breaks. It's about the fact that as a READER, I know how much of a pain it is to read a story when it doesn't have the breaks, and THEY DON'T CARE!

They couldn't even be bothered to give us a heads up so that we could have fixed it beforehand.
